FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your store hours?

We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10-6, Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-4.  We are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?

For anything other than Prom Dress shopping, an appointment is required. This will ensure that you receive the personal attention you deserve by our fabulous team of bridal stylists and that there is adequate fitting room space available.  We do our best to accommodate walk-in customers.  Saturday appointments fill up quickly.  Make sure you call a few weeks ahead of your desired visit.

How long should I allow for an appointment?

With our bridal appointments, we allot 90 minutes to try on wedding gowns.  If you need more time, we’re more than happy to schedule a return visit.  We reserve 60 minutes for bridesmaid appointments (of course this depends on how many girls are trying on dresses).  Mother-of-the-brides/grooms usually spend about 60 minutes here at the store.

What is your price of bridal gowns?

We have affordable wedding dresses between about $1000-$2200.  There is a selection of dresses at every price point and budget.  We even have a “Gown-to-Go” area where discontinued dresses are 50% or more off original prices.

How far in advance should I order my bridal dress?

Wedding gowns normally take about 4-6 months for delivery.  We like to have 2-3 months for the fitting and alteration process.  Most brides order their dresses 9-12 months in advance.  Rush orders, for an additional charge, are available from most designers to speed up the ordering process for those last-minute brides.

Do I have to pay for my gown in full at the time of purchase?

To order a wedding gown, a deposit of at least 50% of the purchase price is required at the time of order.  The balance is due within 30 days of the merchandise arriving at the store.  For all other purchases, merchandise must be paid in full at time of order.  All sales are final.  There are no refunds or exchanges.  This is bridal industry standard.

Do you provide in-house alterations?

Yes!  We offer fittings and alterations on wedding gowns purchased at our boutique.  Most gowns will require some sort of adjustments to ensure the perfect fit.  Alterations are an additional charge and are based upon the type of work needed.  Dresses must be paid in full before we begin the alterations process and prior to the merchandise leaving the store.  Currently, we are only doing wedding dress alterations.  We have a referral list of recommended tailors/seamstresses for all other types of dresses.

Can we bring champagne/food/drink to the store?

Unfortunately, no, but we are happy to suggest some great local spots to BYOB or cozy up to the bar to celebrate after your bridal appointment.

What should I bring with me to my bridal appointment?

We encourage you to bring photos of gowns that you like, whether they’re from a magazine or your Pinterest page.  Don’t have any idea of what style you want?  No worries!  Out highly trained bridal stylists will assist you in finding the perfect style dress.  We recommend brides wear a strapless bra and nude colored underwear to try on wedding gowns.  Some brides also prefer to wear Spanx or a slimming undergarment/shaper.

How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?

We ask that you bring no more than 3-4 guests with you to the appointment. We are a smaller boutique with limited seating and space. Please invite only those whose opinion you value most and who will have your best interest at heart, Due to the nature of our business, we highly encourage small children to remain at home.
